How to choose the right therapy setting.
- Postoperative rehab: choose a clinic comfortable with surgical protocols and communication with the surgeon.
- Sports rehab: look for progressive strengthening, movement retraining and return-to-sport planning.
- Balance/fall risk: balance-focused programs can be especially helpful for older adults.
- Home health PT: useful for patients who medically qualify and cannot safely attend outpatient therapy.
